About Us

StickmanStickmanCompanies in Motion (CIM) is the leading provider and exponent of Physical Intelligence (PI) for corporate training and consultancy programmes.

Physical Intelligence was first piloted in 2005 in a leadership programme with the public conservation body, English Nature during their merger with the Countryside Agency to form Natural England. Thanks to the vision of the HR department at English Nature and our partners ABA, who went for an intial half-day trial of PI, it became a fully integrated and vital learning tool in the programme. We didn't look back.

Our portfolio of clients for 2008 includes Britain’s leading transport company, National Express, who use Physical Intelligence in their current three-year leadership development programme. With consultancy firms' Pi is used at Sony, Somerfield supermarkets, Home Office:Criminal Justice Bureau, NHS, Ealing Borough Council, London Borough of Hillingdon, Wellkom, Hampshire Schools and Lloyds Bank.

PI is the brainchild of management consultant Andrea Bugari and movement practitioner, Claire Russ, both consultants at the forefront of innovative business practice. Conceived in 2002 at an Open Space Conference, the material is completely original and increasingly seen as the new emotional intelligence.

Our associate team consists of movement practitioners who are leading artistic directors of highly successful arts companies and trained business consultants with a high level of experience. We create teams to deliver a wide range of training. Physical Intelligence programmes have immediate benefit and long term impact. All our consultants are experts in their fields and products are delivered with clarity, intellectual rigour, laughter and style.

Diversity

Physical Intelligence modules are created to embrace cultural diversity and codes of conduct appropriate to creed. The commonality of a relaxed and energised physical state as a support and focus for a positive mental state are key starting points. PI creates and promotes cross cultural discussion and understanding about how we communicate with each other non-verbally.
